Bootloader

As of November 2015 there are bootloaders available in which a “rescue mode” is integrated.

The ‘rescue mode’ allows you to approach the receiver via the network (webbrowser) and re-flash it.

Follow the steps below to install the new bootloader.
Be aware that your receiver needs a complete new firmware flash, so it is wise to backup your information.

Necessities:

A suitable USB memory stick, FAT32 formatted.
A bootloader, corresponding your STB.
Compression software such as WINRAR or 7zip.
HP Format Tool (not required, but recommended).
Teracopy (not required, but recommended)

Preparations:

Format a USB memory stick (FAT32).
Download the bootload the corresponding bootloader and unzip it on your desktop with WINRAR or 7zip.
